Quarterly Census of Seniors Housing in the 100 Largest MSAs in the U.S.

NIC MAP data now available on Bloomberg Industries platform

Annapolis, Maryland -- October 29, 2012 -- National Investment Center for the Seniors Housing & Care Industry (NIC), the leading provider of historical and trend data on the seniors housing industry, today announced it provides NIC MAP® data to Bloomberg's more than 310,000 global subscribers. NIC's seniors housing data is available through the Bloomberg Industries platform, the first and only portal to offer interactive, continuously updated industry research and data.

Bloomberg users can now access, chart and download NIC MAP® data on seniors housing, independent living (IL), assisted living (AL), continuing care retirement communities (CCRC) and nursing homes for the nation's 31 largest metropolitan areas. The data will include NIC MAP® quarterly, aggregate fundamentals on a national and regional aggregate basis.

"With the growing interest of institutional investors in healthcare real estate, and in particular seniors housing and care, this strategic relationship with Bloomberg plays a critical role in promoting transparency in the sector," said Robert Kramer, NIC's President. "NIC MAP® data will provide influential decision makers with actionable market data required to invest in emerging markets like the seniors housing and care sector."
