Background

Located in Oxford, MS, ProMatura Group has been operating continuously since 1984. We employ more than 80 professionals which allows us to conduct all research with in-house staff. We do not outsource any of our research.

ProMatura Group has conducted hundreds of studies of local market areas for individual clients and for-profit and not-for-profit companies. The combination of our experience in markets from Maine to San Diego and the industry specific information gathered from all 50 states has allowed ProMatura to develop several tools to help guide development of communities. One such tool is a proprietary demand model that uses 63 multipliers (one each for each of 9 income values by 7 age groups) of the proportion of households who are likely to move to each type of age-qualified housing. These demand rates are adjusted for each market area based on regional seniors housing penetration, market area economic variables, home values and other attributes relevant to each specific market area.

ProMatura Group has conducted numerous national surveys for key trade associations serving the age-qualified housing industry. Among the trade associations that we have served are: American Seniors Housing Association, Assisted Living Federation of America, National Association of Home Builders 50+ Council, The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care Industries and others. We also conduct our own national studies of the housing preferences of 45+ households. Recent studies surveyed over 6,000 participants as well as a study of 600 households who had recently moved to an active adult community.

ProMatura is under the leadership of Dr. Margaret Wylde, CEO. Wylde is a nationally recognized as an expert in all aspects of age-qualified housing as acknowledged by the National Association of Home Builders 50+ Housing Council's "Icon of the Industry" award in recognition of her substantial and lasting impact on the 50+ housing industry.

Our mission is to ensure that our knowledge of the mature market and our research and consulting capabilities profits our clients today and tomorrow.
